Today is Saturday. Yes! Saturday. Our favorite day ‘cause it’s our sweet treat baking day. And have we got a fun idea that we are cooking up this week. We’re taking our best ever cookie dough and adding a special something inside. Different types of Girl Scout Cookies, an assortment of Oreos…a sweet surprise will be waiting inside each cookie. Who knows what you’ll find until you take a yummy bite. Extra sweetness for the win! Every.Time!

Directions

Make a batch of our favorite cookie dough

Make 2 inch balls with the dough

Place an Oreo or Girl Scout cookie inside each ball of dough

Add dark chocolate chips to the top

Bake according to cookie dough recipe

Sweet KC Super Bowl Snack

When it’s Super Bowl Sunday and you’re home team has made it to big game, you go big or go home. And we’re going big with Mahomes Magic Bars. These yummy treats are dedicated to our beloved quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Our QB 1 sure does make some magic on the field and we’re hoping he can bring home a sweet Super Bowl victory. Kansas City Chiefs, Let’s go!!!

Ingredients

  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup Red M&M candies
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos

Instructions

  • HEAT oven to 350°F. Coat 13 x 9-inch baking pan generously with non-stick cooking spray.
  • COMBINE graham cracker crumbs and butter in small bowl. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer with Oreos, chocolate chips, and M&M candies. Press down firmly with fork. 
  • BAKE 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to cool on a wire rack for at least one hour. Cut into bars, serve and enjoy.

The Sweet Smell Of Dirt

Ingredients

  • Chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients on the back of the box
  • 1 jar hot fudge
  • Already made chocolate vanilla pudding
  • Oreos, crushed
  • Gummy worms

Directions

Mix and bake cake accordingly the directions on the back of the box. Once cooled spoon cake into the bottom of a clear cup, layer on hot fudge, pudding. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top and poke a few gummy worms into the mixture. Go for it! 

Owl We Need Are Sweets On Saturday 

Hoot Hoot Horray, it’s Saturday! “Owl”-o-ween is almost here. “Hoos” ready for a festive treat? You know, “owl” never say no to brownies. And these “owl”ragous yummies are perfect for bringing home to the creatures in your nest. 
Owl Brownies

  

Ingredients

  • 1 box of brownies (plus ingredients on back of the box)
  • 1 package of Oreos
  • Fall M&Ms
  • Candy Corn

Directions

  1. Bake the brownies according to the directions on the back of the box and allow to cool before cutting into squares. 
  2. Take two Oreos apart and place on the brownies as eyes. 
  3. Place an M&M in the middle of the Oreo.
  4. Break an Oreo wafer in half and place on the brownie as eyebrows. 
  5. Place a candy corn on the brownie underneath eyes as a beak.

Around here we’re all about fitness. However, lately we’ve been nursing some injuries and not feeling so willing to over-indulge. But after some time of tightening our calorie belts we’re ready to spoil ourselves. Prepare yourself people for the supreme, the outrageous, dare we say, the motherload of all sweet treats! We present to you The Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie n’ Oreo Fudge Brownie Bar! Leave it to chocolate to make us feel much, much better! 

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie n’ Oreo Fudge Brownie Bar

  
Ingredients

Cookie Dough

3/4 stick Crisco® Baking Sticks Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening 

1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons almond milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 large egg

1 3/4 cups  All Purpose Flour

1 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

HEAT oven to 375ºF.
COMBINE shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix into shortening mixture until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

1 pkg Oreos

1 Family Size (9×13) Brownie mix + eggs and oil as called for on the back of the box

¼ cup hot fudge topping

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with foil. Coat generously with nonstick cooking spray.

For the Cookie Dough
Spread the cookie dough in the bottom of prepared pan. Top with a layer of Oreos. Mix together brownie mix according to directions, adding an optional ¼ cup of hot fudge topping to the mix. Pour the brownie batter over the cookie dough and Oreos. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting. Brownies may still be gooey in the middle when still warm, but will set up perfectly once cooled. Enjoy!!

Have yourself a magically sweet Christmas!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! The trees are decorated, the stockings are hung, the gifts are wrapped. What else is there to do to spread more holiday cheer? Hmmm? BAKE! This Saturday we are creating a little magic in the kitchen with a Christmas twist on our classic Magic Bar recipe. This gooey treat is just the thing to inspire your spirit this holiday season. Season’s Greetings!

Ingredients:

30 Original Oreo Cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup Heath Bits
1/2 cup pretzels, broken into small pieces
16 Winter Oreo Cookies with Red Vanilla Filling
1 cup red and green M&M’s
1 bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9×13 baking pan with non-stick aluminum foil.
Mix crushed Original Oreo Cookies with melted butter. Press into and even layer in the 9×13 baking pan.
Sprinkle on toffee bits and pretzels.
Pour sweetened condensed milk over to and spread evenly.
Add the pieces of red cream filled Oreos cookies, 1/2 cup of the red and green M&M’s and 1/2 of the bag of chocolate chips.
Bake for 25-27 minutes until the sweetened condensed milk has caramelized.
Remove from oven and sprinkle on the remaining red and green M&M’s and chocolate chips. Return to oven for 3 minutes. Remove and set on a cooling rack. Cool completely.
