We’ve mentioned GORP on our blog many times. It’s the perfect entertaining treat. This weekend we are throwing a little Besties Birthday Party where we are celebrating our 2020 birthdays. Our besties know us for many things including baking, crafting, home decorating, and GORP! We decided, with the help of being gifted some yummy sweets (thanks sister-in-law), to throw together some newness to our GORP mix. This time we are adding Animal Crackers and Circus Cookies to our usual favorites: Rolos, Heath, Bugles, Peanut M & Ms, and Pretzels. Happy Birthday Besties! We think every year is important to celebrate. Even 2020! Especially 2020!!!
If this weekend has you participating in some sort of merriment, we’ve got the perfect snack for you to bring along. These little Edible Elf Hats are too cute to be this easy to make. Good thing ‘cause we are spending all our energies on creating the perfect scenes for our Elf on the Shelf. Anyone else??? How does this little guy get to have all the fun? We’ll never tell. Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!

Hooray! The 2015 holiday season is over- said NO ONE ever! What are we to do with the Christmas candies, snacks, and goodies we have spilling out of our cabinets? We certainly don’t need them lurking around to tempt us much longer! Getting rid of it all in Kitchen Cabinet Cookie Butter Crunch seems the obvious choice to cure our cheating and treating addiction that seems to happen every year at this time. A much needed sugar break is a must for 2016. (At least until next Saturday!) Happy New Year!

Don’t be fooled by the title of this post. We would never…let us repeat…we would never throw sweet treats in the trash can! We would, however, use them to make White Trash Holiday Bark. If your cupboards are like ours’ then we’re guessing they are busting with leftover Christmas candy and goodies. Join us on this movement to rid our kitchens of the remnants Christmas left behind. The combinations are endless. There’s no tastier way!
